I have been living in Australia for more then two years now. I came here on student visa and did my masters. Being a student for two years I have a fair idea about a student life in Australia. I would like to share my experiences with whom who want to come here for studies. Our Study in Australia segment is intended to provide information and guidance on all things. From reasons to prefer Australia as your studying destination, to guidance on choosing the right course and institution for you, to help with your finances, you’ll find it all in one easy to read section.

Hi Nitish Well dentistry is in demand list it means that Australia needs dentists to fill up the shortage. The pay scale is very good If you have got 1-4 years of experience pay will be around 90-100K package per annum which is very good..But If you are a foreign dentist then there are some tests which you need to pass hope it helps
cheers

Hi Vamsi, you can work as a security guard but for that you have to stay here for one year and apply for the license. Plus in order to apply for the security license you must have one year visa left. which means your study visa must be of minimum two years in order to apply for the security license. This applies to Melbourne.
As far as part jobs are concerned, it takes some time to get a job. Odd jobs include console operator @ petrol pump, kitchen hand, car wash, taxi etc..
